Story time!

These are inspired by my adhd, I came up with these stirring spoons because I was stirring my morning coffee with a chopstick for months and it just made it feel less and less special which is not what we’re aiming for! My thought process with this one was that rinsing a chopstick was less work than washing a spoon, also my brain didn’t feel it was right to “waste” an “eating utensil/dish I have to wash” for an activity that’s less “worth it” than food? oh brains.

One day I realized that the story my brain was telling in hopes of rationalizing why I was okay with settling with my morning coffee experience, was…very silly. My main motivation for making ceramics is to make the act of nourishment magical because that’s how I’ve healed from not prioritizing nourishment, so this whole chopstick sitch had to go, thus! I give you my very special stirring spoons meant to make your morning tea or coffee experience as magical as it should be!!
